Cranberry Pear Sauce
- 1 lb cranberries
- 1 pear, cut into ¼ inch pieces
- 2 teaspoons grated orange zest
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 cup apple juice
- In a medium saucepan combine all the ingredients and stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens, about 15 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
