You know I HATE to waste anything, but especially food. I had some apples that were not too pretty looking and let’s face it, how appealing food looks is important. Trying to get my teenager to eat something that does not look fresh is a battle I have fought, and lost in the past! So I had these apples and decided to make some applesauce and from the applesauce ta-dum make Applesauce Drop Cookies! These cookies were so moist with just a hint of applesauce but rich in cinnamon and cloves. I tell you there were some burnt fingers, and almost tongues, when these cookies came out of the oven. The aroma was wonderful!
So make these for your family, grab a cup of coffee or glass of milk to go with them and enjoy. And hey, we found putting any leftover applesauce on them tasted really good, too.
