Sloppy Joe Gluten Free Recipe

Sloppy Joes are my what can I fix quickly that tastes good and is a hit with just about everybody meal.
This was a favorite of mine while I was growing up, of course at that time, it did not have to be gluten free.
I have found some gluten free barbecue sauces to use in my sloppy joe recipe that taste very close to my childhood memories.
I can eat this with or without bread, but I so like slaw with it.
Try this the next time you need  to prepare something fast, easy and oh so good.

Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground beef*
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • ¼ cup gluten free barbecue sauce (your favorite brand)
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 2 Tbsp onion powder
  • 2 Tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ tsp celery seed
Instructions
  1. Brown ground beef and drain fat.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. *could substitute ground turkey
  5. If mixing all the dry ingredients together in a larger quantity for future use measure out ⅓ cup of the seasoning mix per one pound of meat.
