Black Bean Brownies Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegan
- 1½ cups black beans (15 ounce can, drained and rinsed very well)
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- ½ cup gluten free quick oats
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup pure maple syrup or agave
- 2 Tablespoons sugar or 4 drops of vanilla stevia
- ¼ cup oil
- 2 teaspoons gluten free vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ - ⅔ cup dairy free chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine all ingredients, except for chocolate chips, into a food processor and blend until completely smooth.
- Stir in chocolate chips, then pour into a greased 8x8 pan.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes and let cool at least 20 minutes.
I doubled the recipe to make a thicker brownie.
