Pillsbury Gluten Free Dough Pie and Pastry
Alright, this isn’t easy to admit…there are times I do not feel like making from scratch, don’t have the time to make from scratch, drop my super woman cape in the dirt and STOMP on it!!
Well, that felt good and wasn’t as difficult as I thought. I am breathing easier now, such a relief.
When I have one of those days, it is nice to know there are products out there to help us until we can get back in our super mode.
The Pillsbury Gluten Free Dough Pie and Pastry is one such item that I discovered and wondered how it would taste, how did it bake, how difficult was it to use. So I purchased one of these one pound tubs to have on hand for “one of those days”.
Now of course, being the diligent sort, I knew I needed to try said item before I was in a desperate state.
I was very pleased. The dough was easy to work with. It had a pleasant taste and texture. It is by no means flaky but it is not dense.
I used this Pillsbury Gluten Free Dough with a fruit pie recipe and was very pleased with the results.
Bottom line, Pillsbury Gluten Free Dough Pie and Pastry is a good go-to when you cannot make from scratch.
